Watoto means children in Swahili. And there are children everywhere here in Congo (large families are still the rule). These are often the ones who make the charm of our field trips. Always there to greet us ("muzungu, muzungu"), they generally love the photos. Poor and very poor, often dressed in rags, they nevertheless show a smile who forget their misery ...
