Art and Spirituality in the Land of Dragon
exhibition "The Dragon's Gift: Sacred Arts of Bhutan"
Nimba in his palace of clouds and its Mysteries, Bhutan has for years a powerful fascination over the West. Only officially Buddhist country in the world, he advocated a development model based on a gradual opening to the rest of the world, illustrated by the famous indicator of GNH, Gross National Happiness, which aims to measure the satisfaction level of the population rather than the level of national wealth. Unified
the seventeenth century by a Tibetan monk, Ngawang Namgyal Shabrung (1594-1651), Bhutan is the Tibetan name "Drukgyul" or countries of the Dragon, because of its connection with the lineage Drukpa Kagyu, one of four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
exposure now allows us to know more about his art intimately linked to Vajrayana Buddhism practiced by the vast majority of the population. The works exhibited at the Musée Guimet, represent an astonishing testimony to the spiritual and artistic riches of this tiny country hidden in the heart of the Himalayas.
The exhibition begins with a series of photographs by Matthieu Ricard, Buddhist monk, author and translator of the Dalai Lama, who has spent many years in Bhutan. One can see, for example, a beautiful picture his master root Dilgo Khyensé Rinpoche (1910-1991) in ceremonial robes, holding vajra and bell, on a balcony Taktsang. Mathieu Ricard has also captured the movement of black hat dancers twirling to the beat of drums on the forecourt of the monastery Trong.
Among the most fascinating works on display, there is a beautiful thangka depicting the five Buddha families, five or Jina, in the middle of spherical shapes. The five Buddhas (Dainichi-Aksobhya Vajrasattva, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi) actually represent each quality of Awakening: the wisdom of absolute space, Similar to the mirror, Equality, Discernment and completed successfully. Related to a cycle terma (treasure revealed spiritual), as shown by the inscriptions in writing dakini, this thangka, covered with symbols and mantras, is a liberation by sight (Tib, mthong-grol). Everyone who sees it is ensured, it is said, one day be released from samsara, the cycle of conditioned existence.
In the first room, you can also see two paintings of high quality cycle Jataka, stories of Buddha's past lives. These stories illustrate the wisdom, compassion and methods implemented by the future Buddha Shakyamuni during his previous lives, they are traditionally narrated to children as cautionary tales.
A little later, we see thangkas, showing yidams déitées or meditation of the Kagyu school at the center of the mandala, or as Çakrasambhava Vajradakini. They are topped Vajradara Buddha and the masters of the lineage: Tilopa (with fish), Naropa, Marpa, Milarepa.
Many beautiful bronze statues and punctuate the show. Green Tara, said the Salvatrice, sometimes called the Virgin Mary Buddhists, decorated with small turquoise with his open hand in gesture of the gift. Padmasambhava, the Lotus Born, magician and Indian saint who brought Buddhism to Tibet, with his two wives mystics, and Yeshe Mandarava Tsogyal. Drukpa Kunley, nicknamed the "Divine Madman", the great mystic libertine habits, caught playing the dramyen, a kind of lute, probably busy flirting with a beautiful stranger.
In summary, this exhibition brings together a unique collection designed originally to inspire practitioners Vajarayana on their spiritual journey. To fully appreciate the content, it is preferable to know the historical and spiritual context Tibetan Buddhism. However, the incredible artistry of these works will not fail to impress all visitors.

Is Lap Band Surgery Covered In Ontario By Ohip
Tsoknyi Rinpoche France
Tsoknyi Rinpoche is a son of Tulku Rinpoche Orgyen (1920 -1996), grand master of the Kagyu and Nyingma tradition.
Three weeks before the end of the three-year retreat, which ended November 21, 2009, Rinpoche came to Tsoknyi Lerab Ling to give instruction on the key points of the Dzogchen tradition, describe the possible pitfalls that await even advanced practitioners of Vajrayana and answer many questions from students of Rigpa. All with great honesty and a sense of humor to Buster Keaton.
His explanation of the subtle body - the receptacle of our energy dimension so often disturbed by modern life - have been particularly noticed. He also announced the forthcoming publication of a book on this subject.
Arcs-en-ciel
Rinpoche's visit to Tsoknyi Lerab Ling in southern France has coincided with the appearance of arcs in the sky above the valley for several days.
An evocation of Khen Rinpoche Nyoshul
In his last teaching, Tsoknyi Rinpoche spoke about the great yogi and scholar dzogchen Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche (1932-1999):
"When talking about Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche Dzogchen teachings, he said: "They are my fortune, they are my temple. These lessons are my true wealth, my real wealth. This is my gompa is my community practitioners of the sangha. It's just that, the thing that has more value. This is my most precious heritage. "Then he said:" Now I'll says, therefore, keep it the same way. In this world, is the most precious thing. Now I give you, please, keep it good, keep it well. Practice it . "
When we lived in the presence of Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche, he was able somehow to turn your value system, one could say that everything else had no real significance, that real wealth in this world was the Dharma teachings. He did not preach or try to convince a fanatic way by a sort of brainwashing inflamed, but it happened like that, because he himself had such a high regard for the most profound teachings, he transformed my perception. Once, I stayed with him for a month and I changed. Of course, I changed the other way a little later, but while I was there, I felt very different. "
A final advice for retreatants
" You are so fortunate. You were somehow infused, saturated by the Buddhadharma, not in the form of books, notes, recordings or anything else like that, but now this is something in you. That's what you should cherish, it is the Dharma of realization, not a scriptural dharma, dharma nor a word, but an embodiment of dharma, something you have in you now as the seven noble qualities, the sevenfold noble fortune. Please, cherish it. Do not ignore it, do not forget, but take it with you wherever you go, which is already in you.
The best thing if you can be more normal than normal people. The training of Dharma is to train a person to be 'normal', not an abnormal person. That's right, no? We always hear, again and again, the expression 'be natural', is not it? Be yourself. Be as you are, as it is. Your nature as it is. This is what is said again and again. Do not be forced, coerced, are natural.
And if you look around you in this world, this quality natural, normal, is brighter than anything else, the glory, power, wealth and all that stuff. Without this natural quality interior, power and wealth and that sort of thing is worthless.
You were under the protection of love and kindness of Sogyal Rinpoche for three years and you just concentrate on this main point, become a real human being truly human. And, ultimately, is all that the Dalai Lama teaches. "

THE TIBETAN BOOK OF THE DEAD Padmasambhava
It is a strange and fascinating book that comes to us today more than thirteen centuries after it was composed by the great saint and mystic Indian Padmasambhava who brought Buddhism to Tibet in the eighth century, and its discovery in the fourteenth century by Karma Lingpa the yogi.
The "Bardo Thödröl Chenmo", better known in the West under the title "The Tibetan Book of the Dead" is finally made available in French translation by Philippe Cornu, teacher INALCO (Language Y) and author of several books on Buddhism, including in particular the "Encyclopedic Dictionary of Buddhism." The advantage of this translation is not only to provide for the first time in French all the texts that make up the Bardo Thödröl, but also through the preface Mathieux Ricard and explanations of Philippe Cornu, to put this item in the heart of his true spiritual perception, that is his relationship with former Tantra and Dzogchen. The book abounds in fact key to understanding the complex aspects of the design philosophy and practice of Tibetan Buddhism. The general introduction and the introductions that precede each chapter are particularly illuminating for both beginners who want to discover this fundamental work and for practitioners of Tantra and Dzogchen.
"The Book of Tibetan dead "is a series of lessons on what might be called the in-between, or intervals that punctuate our existence, our birth states post mortal. According to the design of Vajrayana Buddhism, existence is divided into a series of periods that offer opportunities to escape the sufferings of samsara and advance on the path to liberation. After physical death and the dissolution of the basic elements, begins another journey to the continuum of experiences that constitute our consciousness. This flow of experiences formed from our karma then goes through several steps the Bardo Thödröl described in great detail. The fundamental clear light emerges in the consciousness of the deceased followed by the sounds, lights and shelves, then the visions of peaceful and wrathful deities. This is the bardo of reality. Although these deities represent only the appearance of calm and movement of the mind, their deployment is for individuals who do it are trained in their lifetime experience terrifying and tragic. Finally, consciousness is reflected in the form of a mental body in the state of bardo of becoming where she wanders over a period of up to seven weeks prior to incarnate again in one of six modes of existence of samsara according to its karmic propensities.
Yet far from offering only a description of post mortem states, the Bardo Thödröl also exposes a set of extremely powerful spiritual practices to prepare now to face the moment of truth that is our death. The book includes
and practices of Guru Yoga, purification involving the hundred peaceful and wrathful deities in the form of saddhanas type or Mahayoga Anuyoga and practice of confession.
One of the most mysterious chapters of the cycle is without doubt one describing the warning signs of death.
The chapter on "The natural release of attention by the transfer of consciousness" covers three kinds of practical consciousness or p'owa transfer (transfer of Dharmakaya, the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya) in their appearance during training life and their actual appearance, ie at the crucial moment of death. It is obviously essential to have caused his life to the practice of Guru Yoga, integration with the state of the master, or transfer in the deity of choice. However, the text mentions opportunities for people unaware of any practical and very heavy karma. It must then saying it out loud for them the name of Buddha Ratnashikhin who once made a promise to release lower for all who heard his name when he died.
Finally, the conclusion drawn by the translator, "The Tibetan Book of the Dead" reveals his ultimate secret, the prospect of a completely new life far beyond the narrow confines of this life, moreover, far too short . The fundamental message that we address Padmasambhava across the centuries is that we can achieve freedom and enlightenment that we can free ourselves from ever suffering. It means recognizing the true nature of our mind and learn to stay there. By following the advice of a real master, symbol and embodiment of our luminous nature, and diligently applying the teachings of Tantric and Dzogchen, we can finally achieve enlightenment in order to rescue all beings from samsara prisoners.

Can Your Employer Require Medical Info
Look how the streets are crowded with shadows
So many faces like eroded shorelines
Everything verdigris in my eyes
a spell to protect us from these places
Do you feel the breath of winter in summer
His strength grows ships go
Why must we always err
balm That finally come heal our hearts tight
hear the wolf howling at the moon And bloody
Lucifer seeks an Eden for us
But damn, I saw the night shine
Can you live long without begging
I want to break the mirrors, to see
Storytelling for believing
It's like looking for the midnight sun
Living the dream in life is to seek to
Trying to live life
Do you think the blade may show some promise
Or dawn only able distress
At the occurrence of the torments ephemeral
I remember your smile when he hopes

Homecoming Dress Under $40
children ...
And a woman who was carrying a child in her arms said
Tell us of Children.
And he said: Your children are not your children.
They are the son and daughters of Life in itself
They come through you but not from you.
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
Because they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell
the house of tomorrow, you can not visit, not even
in your dreams. You
you can strive to be like them,
but do not try to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows
may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the Archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

Nicotine And Throat Cancer
Freedom ...
The breeze stirs my childhood with a breath of spring
Puberty me like I'm
as the flower bud
I look forward to deploying my heart toward the horizon;
The sun rises in the shadow of my soul
Emeralds rivers flowing through my veins
prairie velvet caress my feet
Oh, my childhood found; You m 'missed you!
I found the friendly embrace of innocence
The tasty smell of candor
And I recognize the country I was born; Freedom
Before me the road unfolds its treasures
not write my poems My playful
hands draw landscapes
I do not have time to watch yesterday
wing of dawn has erased the night ... I
recreates the seven days of my universe
all starts here now!
Freedom!

I love you with all my heart!

To my father ...
Papa
You're left for a country
Hence there is no return ...
I cry, I regret in my heart But
shines a soft light
is an aurora
With the color of your soul
Rose golden tenderness
Your love for me to leave an imprint
Who will never fade
One day I'll meet you in your beautiful country
Who has no name ...
This country that you invented
To survive ... ©

The death of a flower ...
(1963-1979)
A celestial flower of fifteen spring
That has been mowed before the hour
Not ajar
Shy ...
Even fewer offered
modest ... He was
wrest
Until his roots as
a common dandelion.
A wonderful flower,
That was bruised, trampled, trampled on the ground.
His soul forever stained with the defilement of a man!
A flower that dies
No longer perceive the sun, to have for company
That fear and rage!
A flower withered
became dry as autumn leaves,
transit to the marrow by the contempt and indifference
!
A sudden death is ignored;
No more flowers!
There is only one dark spot ...

How Soon To Test After Conception Blood
Homecoming ...
To my son Raphael
I hold out my hands To
your child's heart
A gesture thousand times ... selected
the fingertips of the stars
Picked Source Monitoring
Bursts laughing sun-kissed
You are the little prince came from heaven
Planting flowers on my meadow ... I tend
my hands To your child's heart gesture
A thousand times ... selected
Fingertips diamonds Picked
rivers of sorrow
Bursts of light of hope
You are the little prince came from heaven
Sow rainbows sky on my way ... I tend
my hands To your child's heart
A gesture thousand times ... selected
Fingertips poems
Bursts of golden dust
Picked on new dawn
You are the little prince came from heaven
Sow aurora amber ...
Hope
I stretch my arms
To you young man
a gesture of welcome to come ...
Fingertips seed
Picked on the wing of a dove
You responded to my invitation
the spring sunshine as we reap
Apple Blossom ...

Cervix High Open Before Period
In my beloved son Raphael ... Beads
Offerings
rest in the shadow of my heart And I
dress of my love Sleep on my sheets
fresh
I will give you dreams illuminated
Picked on the wing of the night refreshes your memory
aggrieved
And blot out your memories disappointed
Let your mind wander
I will offer light-hearted poems
Fished on river beds
travel to country of my soul And I'll unveil
my treasures Walk in my orchards
I will offer you the apple of joy
Harvested from the hand of angels
If you walk on the dark paths
I'll steal aurora
If the humid breeze makes you shiver I'll be covering
the scarf
Venus And even if the moon extinguished its luster
For you I'll steal the Star of Bethlehem
rest in the shadow of my heart
And I cover you with kisses
sleep in my sheets
of sweets I give you pearls of dew on the wing
Picked from dawn
